Tanisha Drummer is an experienced career and personal development coach, business strategist and expert marketer. She has worked with business professionals in various stages of their career focusing on self-discovery, leadership development, and career navigation. At the core of her coaching philosophy is the principle of Appreciative Inquiry, which is based on the assumption that inquiry into and dialogue about strengths, successes, values, hopes and dreams is the catalyst to driving transformational change.
Tanisha has an M.B.A from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business and a B.S. in Organizational Change from Northwestern University.
Throughout her career, Tanisha has gained a broad set of educational and professional experiences grounded in executive leadership and people development, Project Management, Retail Strategy, Customer Lifecycle Management, Marketing Strategy and Brand Development and Management. She excels at enabling organizations through transformational change with strategic focus, analytical problem solving, and operational excellence.
When she is not helping organizations grow, Tanisha spends her time fueling her passion of helping individuals reach their full potential and achieve their dreams. She has been a coach and mentor to professionals across multiple industries and levels. She has a keen ability to help others identify, define and develop their Personal Brand. In addition to serving independent clients, Tanisha coaches junior level management consultants focusing on driving superior performance with the goal of achieving higher performance ratings and early promotions.
Tanisha developed her career at Accenture as a Management Consultant in the firm’s Strategy practice. She joined Accenture after completing her college studies and worked for four years before attending business school. She returned to Accenture after earning her MBA and was quickly promoted to Manager, where she led an international go-to-market sales strategy for a Venezuelan consumer goods company, developed a product portfolio strategy for a home improvement retailer, and executed an advertising negotiation strategy for a leading drug retailer.
Tanisha is able to coach others because she has successfully navigated her own career and understands what it takes to stand out and get the job. Throughout her career, she has received job offers from a range of global companies including Accenture, Google, Citibank, Kraft, Nestle, Johnson & Johnson, Eli Lilly, Diageo, U.S. Cellular, and Marriott.
Tanisha also has experience on the talent acquisition side where she served as a recruiter and interviewer for Accenture while working as a Manager. She was the lead for the Kellogg MBA recruiting team, an interviewer for undergraduate and MBA students.
In addition to her coaching work, Tanisha is a Director at Marriott International where she helps the company build more intimate relationships with customers.
Outside of work, Tanisha loves exploring the world and has traveled internationally to Kenya, Spain, France, Venezuela, Brazil, Argentina, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Guatemala, and Belize. She is an avid photographer, amateur snowboarder, and former marathon runner.
